Serinhisar is a district town in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey, on higher ground southwest of the city of Denizli. The name suggests something cool, and its elevation gives it milder summers than the lowland plains below. From above the town forms a compact core of streets surrounded by a wide spread of fields.
Like many small Anatolian towns, Serinhisar has a centre built around a main street and mosque, with residential streets spreading out in a semi-regular pattern.
