Brasschaat Map Poster & Print
Brasschaat sits just north of Antwerp, and on a map it stands out for how much green space it has. Large parks, woodland and former estate grounds break the built area into separate pieces, and villa streets wind between them without much of a grid. Main roads head south toward the city, while quieter lanes disappear into the trees on the northern and eastern sides.
A lot of that greenery goes back to the country estates that wealthy Antwerp families built here in the nineteenth century. The municipal park, with its ponds and old trees, was once one of those estates, and wooded areas such as the Peerdsbos add to the leafy feel. Brasschaat also has a long military connection, with a large army training ground that takes up a significant part of the area.
A Brasschaat map poster turns this pattern into an elegant composition: blank spaces for the parks and woods, fine lines for the lanes that curve through them and denser blocks where the centre and main roads meet. It feels less like a town map and more like a picture of a garden suburb, which is exactly what Brasschaat is.

Woodland edges
Forests such as the Peerdsbos border the residential areas, so the map has wide calm spaces between the curving streets.
Military domain
A large army training ground covers part of the municipality, an empty-looking area that gives the town a clear edge on the map.
