The town rotary
Several main roads meet at a single rotary in the town centre. On the print it is a clear circular hub from which the rest of the street network spreads.

East Longmeadow Map Poster & Print
East Longmeadow is a town in western Massachusetts, just southeast of Springfield and bordering Connecticut. Its best-known map feature is the rotary at the town centre, where several main roads meet in a single circle, which is unusual even for New England. From above, the roads spread outward from it like spokes and give the town a clear, radial structure.
Between those roads, residential neighbourhoods fill in with curving streets, cul-de-sacs and generous lots, broken up by patches of woodland, ponds and farmland toward the edges. The town was once known for its sandstone quarries, whose brownstone was used in buildings across the region. Today it is mainly a quiet suburban community with a small-town centre.
An East Longmeadow map poster has an especially strong focal point. The rotary sits near the middle like a knot, and everything else radiates from it. It is a satisfying design that makes the town instantly recognisable to anyone who has driven around it.

Radiating roads
The main routes spread from the centre toward Springfield, Hampden, Longmeadow and Connecticut. They divide the town into wedges filled with residential streets.
Wooded edges
Toward the town's borders, the subdivisions give way to woods, ponds and open land. The quieter texture at the edges balances the busy centre.
