Ḩājjīābād Map Poster & Print
Ḩājjīābād lies in the interior of Hormozgan Province in southern Iran, well inland from the port of Bandar Abbas. Here the land rises from the hot coastal lowland into the ranges of the Zagros foothills, and the town occupies a valley surrounded by bare, folded mountains. On a map the terrain is felt more than seen, a settlement pushed into the level ground between slopes.
The main road through town links the Persian Gulf coast with the Iranian plateau to the north, and the street plan lines up along it. Side streets branch off in fairly regular blocks, and gardens and date palms line the edges. A Ḩājjīābād map poster presents this as a clear composition: one strong axis, a modest grid, and open desert land beyond.
The climate is hot and dry, and water governs where things grow. Seasonal riverbeds run through the valley and fill only after rain, and cultivated plots gather where water can be reached. In black and white the town stands as a compact, orderly shape set against wide, empty ground that suggests the scale of the mountains around it.

Orderly blocks
Streets branching from the main road form a fairly regular pattern of blocks, a neat, legible core that reads cleanly at any print size.
Dry riverbeds
Seasonal watercourses cut across the valley and flow only after rain. On the poster their branching lines add a natural counterpoint to the streets.
