Rice paddy grid
Fields surround the town in regular rectangular plots, a precise agricultural pattern that frames the built-up area and gives the map a fine, even texture.

Heunghae Map Poster & Print
Heunghae is a town in Buk-gu, the northern district of Pohang, in North Gyeongsang Province. It lies in a broad, low valley just inland from the east coast, where rice paddies spread between gentle hills. From above, the town appears as a compact center surrounded by the neat rectangles of fields, with roads linking it to central Pohang and the coast.
The town is home to Handong Global University, whose campus sits on the hillside above the valley and forms a distinct area of buildings and green space on the map. In 2017 the Pohang earthquake, one of the strongest recorded in South Korea, had its epicenter near Heunghae, and recovery since then has been a notable part of the town's recent story.
A Heunghae map poster shows a place where town and countryside meet closely. The dense cluster of streets at the center, the paddies with their regular pattern and the hills rising around them make a composition that is orderly and calm, well suited to a minimalist black-and-white print.
