Kelaat Mgouna Map Poster & Print
Kelaat Mgouna lies in southern Morocco, where the M'Goun river meets the Dadès valley on the southern side of the High Atlas. From above, the town follows the valley floor and the main road, a long, narrow settlement flanked by steep, bare slopes. The contrast is stark: a band of irrigated green runs through the middle, with dry, folded ground on either side.
The town is best known as the centre of Morocco's rose-growing region, often called the Valley of Roses. Hedges of Damask roses line the fields, and their petals are distilled into rose water and oil. Every spring, the harvest is marked by a rose festival that draws visitors from across the country.
The map shows how carefully the valley is used. Small fields and irrigation channels form a fine patchwork along the river, while clusters of earthen houses and kasbahs sit at the edges where the land begins to rise. A Kelaat Mgouna map poster turns that narrow strip of cultivation into clean lines against a quiet background.

River oasis strip
A narrow ribbon of fields and trees follows the watercourse. On the map it shows clearly as a dense band between open, empty slopes.
Road along the valley
The main road runs along the valley floor, and most of the town's streets branch from it, which gives the settlement its long, linear shape.

De ce Kelaat Mgouna
O hartă care înseamnă ceva
Travellers crossing southern Morocco often remember Kelaat Mgouna by its scent before its streets. A map of the valley is a quiet reminder of that journey, or a piece of home for families from the region who now live in Marrakech, Casablanca or Europe.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as the date of your visit, and keep or edit the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, each read differently here. Sand echoes the earthen kasbahs of the valley.
