Residential grid
Closely spaced streets and small plots make up most of the township. On the poster they create a fine, even pattern that fills the centre of the design.

Ncotshane Map Poster & Print
Ncotshane is a township in the north of KwaZulu-Natal, close to the town of Pongola and not far from the borders with Eswatini and Mpumalanga. It sits in a warm, open valley known for farming, with cultivated land and bush stretching away around the residential areas.
From above, Ncotshane is a settlement of many small plots and closely spaced streets, laid out in sections that grew over time. Main roads link it to Pongola and the surrounding region, and the neighbourhood streets branch off in tighter, more regular patterns.
An Ncotshane map poster shows the texture of a place defined by homes and community rather than monuments. The fine pattern of residential streets fills the centre of the frame. The main routes cut through it, and the open land around the township gives the design breathing space.

Open valley land
Farmland and bush surround the settlement. In a minimal style they read as open space that frames the streets.
