Taylorsville Map Poster & Print
Taylorsville lies in the middle of the Salt Lake Valley, and its map follows the valley's well-known grid system, in which streets are numbered by their distance from a central point in downtown Salt Lake City. The result is a pattern of long, straight arterials crossing at regular intervals, with curving subdivisions and cul-de-sacs filling the squares between them.
The Jordan River runs along the eastern side of the city, adding the one natural curve to an otherwise geometric layout, with a parkway trail following its banks. Taylorsville was incorporated as a city only in the 1990s, though farming settlements existed here long before, and it is home to the main campus of Salt Lake Community College.
A Taylorsville map poster turns this ordered suburb into a satisfying graphic: large squares, softer residential loops and the thin meander of the river. It reflects a particular Utah way of building towns, and for residents it is instantly readable, with the mountain ranges that frame the valley sitting just outside the edges of the print.

Jordan River
On the eastern edge, the river winds through a green corridor, the only strong natural line on the map and a welcome contrast to the grid.
Cul-de-sac interiors
Within each square, residential streets loop and curve into dead ends, creating an intricate, almost decorative pattern at close range.
