Yuanyang Map Poster & Print
Yuanyang lies north of central Chongqing, in an area where the city's newer districts have spread across hilly land. On a map it looks layered: large residential blocks and wide roads laid over uneven ground, with slopes and green ridges left open between them. Expressways curve around the hills, and the streets bend to follow the land instead of a strict grid.
Chongqing is known for building upward and around its hills, and this part of the city shows that clearly. Development here has been fast, and much of what appears on the map is recent: new estates, broad avenues and multi-level interchanges. The mix of dense construction and steep, empty slopes gives the area its unusual shape from above.
A Yuanyang map poster captures the energy of a growing district on difficult ground. Sweeping road curves, blocks of tower estates and the open spaces of the hills make a composition with lots of movement. In black and white it has a strong graphic quality, and it pairs naturally with a print of central Chongqing.

Tower estates
Large new residential compounds form big, orderly blocks, contrasting with the irregular shape of the terrain around them.
Green ridges
Hills too steep to build on remain open, leaving calm empty areas between the dense new districts.
