Kampung Ayer Molek is a community inland from the historic centre of Melaka, in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula. On a map it shows the mixed pattern typical of the Melaka suburbs: older village lanes following the land, alongside newer housing estates with regular, looped street layouts.
