Seputeh covers part of southern Kuala Lumpur, south of the city centre along the Klang River valley and Old Klang Road. From above it is a layered city district: large expressways and flyovers above, and below them housing estates, condominiums, shophouse rows and small hills with their own winding streets.
The area is known for residential neighbourhoods such as Taman Desa and for its position between the city centre and the suburbs to the south and west. It is also well known as the name of a parliamentary constituency in the capital.

Old Klang Road
This old route runs south through the area. It is older than the highways, and houses and shops still line it, so it stands out as a busy, detailed street.
Hillside estates
Several neighbourhoods sit on low hills. Their streets curve and end in cul-de-sacs, which makes them look quite different from the straighter blocks in the valley.
