Aihui Map Poster & Print
Aihui lies in northern Heilongjiang, where the Amur River marks the border between China and Russia. On a map, the river is the defining line. It sweeps past the district in a wide curve, and the streets of the urban area press up against its southern bank. The opposite shore belongs to another country, so the water reads as both a landscape feature and a boundary.
The name is tied to the Treaty of Aigun, signed here in 1858 between the Qing dynasty and the Russian Empire. It moved the border to the Amur and changed the political map of the region. Today the district forms part of Heihe city. Its built-up grid gives way quickly to open farmland, river islands and the long northern plain.
An Aihui map poster works in the tension between river and grid. Dense blocks cluster at the waterfront, and the roads thin out as they head inland toward fields and scattered settlements. In black and white, the Amur becomes a single confident band across the sheet, and the town on its bank looks small and deliberate beside it.

Treaty of Aigun
The 1858 treaty that fixed much of the Sino-Russian border on the Amur takes its name from this place, which gives the map a clear historical anchor.
Riverside street grid
The urban blocks sit tight against the southern bank and loosen as they move inland. The result is a compact core with open country behind it.

Zakaj Aihui
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang this map to mark a border town that faces another country across a single river. It suits anyone with roots in Heilongjiang, or anyone drawn to the Amur region, and it shows the frontier as plain geography instead of politics.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, a family name or a year for instance, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir works especially well here, with the river as a pale band on a dark field.
