Deder Map Poster & Print
Deder is a town in the East Hararghe Zone of Oromia, in the highlands of eastern Ethiopia. It serves as a local centre for the surrounding district, where farming shapes the landscape. From above, the town is a loose cluster of streets and compounds set among hills, with footpaths and rural roads branching out toward villages on the slopes.
The street pattern is irregular and follows the ground. A main road crosses the town and gathers the busiest part of the settlement along it, while smaller lanes wind between plots and fields. At the edges, buildings thin out gradually and the map turns into a web of tracks rather than a sharp town boundary.
A Deder map poster records this soft, organic shape. There are no straight grids or wide avenues, just a network of lines that bends with the highland terrain. In black and white, the pattern looks almost like a branching drawing, dense at the centre and open toward the hills.

Winding local lanes
Smaller lanes curve between plots and compounds, following the hilly ground instead of a plan, which gives the network its irregular, branching texture.
Highland surroundings
Farmland and scattered settlements surround the town. The street network fades into rural tracks rather than ending at a hard edge, softening the poster's outline.
