Railway junction
The Guangtong–Dali railway branches off the Chengdu–Kunming line here. The long, gentle curves of the tracks are the most distinctive lines on the poster and give it a clear sense of direction.

Guangtong Map Poster & Print
Guangtong is a town in Lufeng County, in the Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture of central Yunnan. It lies on the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau, west of Kunming, in a landscape of red-earth hills, valleys and farmland. The town is best known as a railway junction: the Guangtong–Dali line to western Yunnan branches off the Chengdu–Kunming Railway here.
From above, the town is a compact group of streets gathered in a valley, with the rail lines sweeping past in long curves. Roads follow the lower ground and then climb into the surrounding hills, where fields and terraces cover the slopes. The mix of rigid railway geometry and soft terrain gives the map an unusual balance.
A Guangtong map poster suits railway enthusiasts as well as people from Lufeng and Chuxiong. The town is shaped by its connections, as the point where one of Yunnan's key routes to the west begins. It also works well as a monochrome design, where tracks, roads and valleys can each be read clearly.

Valley town
The town sits in lower ground between hills, with a tight core of streets. Its compact footprint contrasts with the broad sweep of rail and road around it.
Plateau farmland
Terraced fields and small villages cover the surrounding hills in fine, irregular patterns that frame the town and show the farming landscape of central Yunnan.

Zakaj Guangtong
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Many people pass through a junction town, and a few call it home. For both, a map of Guangtong is a thoughtful reminder, whether of journeys west toward Dali or of streets remembered from childhood.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, and the Blueprint style makes the railway geometry especially crisp. Choose any of the five styles, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
