Shanhecun Map Poster & Print
Shanhecun lies in southern Heilongjiang, in the far northeast of China, east of Harbin. The land here is a wide, gently rolling plain, and on the map the town appears as a compact grid of streets surrounded by large, regular fields. Roads leave in straight lines toward nearby villages and towns, which emphasises how open the landscape is.
Rivers and streams cross this part of the province, and low hills rise in places, which gives the land some variety. Farming dominates the landscape, and the long field boundaries create a strong, almost geometric texture around the town on all sides. Villages appear as small clusters scattered between the fields.
Winters in Heilongjiang are long and very cold and summers are short, a climate that shapes local life and farming. The province is one of China's major grain-producing regions. A Shanhecun map poster presents the town in this setting: the dense streets, the roads leading out and the open farmland, drawn in calm, precise lines.
