Jiamusi Map Poster & Print
Jiamusi lies in the northeast of Heilongjiang, on the southern bank of the Songhua River, and its outline closely follows the river. The urban area is long from east to west. Its main roads run parallel to the bank, and cross streets reach down to the waterfront. On the map, the broad river with its islands and sandbars fills much of the northern part of the frame.
The city is the main urban centre of the Sanjiang Plain, a low, fertile area shaped by the Songhua, Heilong (Amur) and Ussuri rivers. It is often described as one of the easternmost cities in China. It also serves as a transport and farming hub for a region known for large-scale grain production and long, cold winters.
A Jiamusi map poster works mainly through contrast: a strong horizontal band of water at the top, the regular grid of the city below, and long bridges linking the two banks. The composition is clean and balanced. It suits the restrained look of the black-and-white styles and needs no decoration to hold the eye.

East–west layout
The main avenues run parallel to the river for long distances, so the city reads as a band of streets rather than a round plan with a single centre.
River bridges
Bridges over the Songhua appear as thin, confident lines that connect the built-up south bank with the flatter, more open land on the northern side.
