Le faʻafanua
Punta Cana sits at the far eastern end of the Dominican Republic, in La Altagracia Province, where the island of Hispaniola runs out of land. From above, the place looks less like a conventional town and more like a ribbon: a sandy shoreline running for miles, backed by resort grounds, golf fairways and a handful of access roads that run parallel to the sea.
The coast is the defining line. Offshore, a coral reef keeps much of the water calm, and on a map the beach traces a soft, continuous edge against the blank Atlantic. Inland the pattern breaks into looping driveways, cul-de-sacs and small lagoons. The runway of Punta Cana International Airport, the main gateway for visitors to the region, cuts a straight line through the scrub.
A Punta Cana map poster keeps that contrast intact: dense curves near the water, sparse lines further inland, and a great deal of white space where the ocean begins. It works well for anyone who has spent time on this coast, whether for a single holiday, a wedding on the beach or a longer stretch living and working in the area.

The airport's runway sits inland as a single straight stroke, a rare hard edge among the curving resort roads and the arrival point for most visitors to this coast.
Behind the beach, private drives, golf-course paths and small lagoons form a tangle of loops and ovals that looks almost like ornament once the colour is taken away.

Aisea Punta Cana
Many people know Punta Cana through a particular week: a honeymoon, a family trip, a reunion with friends. A map of the coastline is a quieter way to remember it than a photo album, and the wide white expanse of sea gives the composition plenty of room to breathe on a wall.
You can add your own title and a date, adjust the subtitle and coordinates line, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits a beach coast particularly well, while Noir makes the shoreline stand out sharply.
