Ronnenberg is a town in the Hanover Region of Lower Saxony, directly southwest of the city of Hanover. It is made up of several distinct localities, including Empelde, Ronnenberg itself, Benthe and Weetzen, and on a map they appear as separate clusters of streets linked by country roads and railway lines rather than as a single continuous town.
Empelde, the largest part, borders the Hanover city districts and has the tighter, more suburban street pattern.
