Terrain-following streets
Roads bend around slopes and follow the valley floors, giving the town a loose, organic layout rather than a grid.

Mapa
Hebian Map Poster & Print
Hebian lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, a region of low hills, winding streams and long-farmed land. From above it is modest in scale. The town's streets bend to fit the terrain, gathering where the ground flattens, while roads leading out of town climb and curve along the valleys.
The land around the town is shaped by agriculture. Terraced fields and small ponds cover the slopes, and on the map they read as a fine, patterned texture outside the built area. Water runs through the low ground, and the town's name, which suggests a riverside, fits a settlement set beside a watercourse.
A Hebian map poster works as a portrait of rural and small-town Chongqing, a long way from the dramatic high-rise core of the city itself. Irregular streets, curving roads and the patterned land around them give the drawing a calm, organic character that looks natural in any room.

Water through town
A watercourse runs through the low ground, a soft curving line that anchors the rest of the map.
Farmland patterns
Terraced fields and ponds around the town create a fine texture beyond the built-up area, typical of the Sichuan Basin's edge.
