Town core
Buildings and streets gather tightly where roads meet in the valley. On the poster this is the darkest area, surrounded by much sparser countryside.

Mapa
Tuchang Map Poster & Print
Tuchang lies in the Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country north of the city's central districts. The landscape here is typical of the eastern Sichuan basin: rounded hills, narrow valleys and terraced fields on almost every slope. From above, the town is a compact cluster of buildings where several roads meet, with the land around it broken into small irregular plots.
Like many towns in Chongqing's outer districts, Tuchang has been drawn closer to the city as new roads and expressways reached out from the centre. The map shows both layers: older lanes fitted into the terrain and newer, wider roads that cut straighter lines through the hills. Streams and small reservoirs sit in the valley bottoms.
A Tuchang map poster presents that pattern clearly. The dense town core, the winding country roads and the fine texture of the surrounding fields all translate well into black and white. It is a portrait of a hill town at the edge of one of China's largest cities.

Hill roads
Country roads wind around the slopes following the contours. They give the map a looping, flowing rhythm that contrasts with the straighter new roads.
Valley water
Small streams and ponds lie along the valley floors. They add quiet detail between the hills and help show how the terrain shapes everything around them.
