Awoshi is a residential area on the western side of Greater Accra, Ghana. It forms part of the growing ring of neighbourhoods that surrounds the capital, where housing has spread steadily outward over recent decades. From above, it shows a fine network of streets and plots filling the land between main roads.
The area has the character of an established suburb that is still growing: older lanes near the main routes, newer streets further out, and a mix of homes, small businesses and churches throughout. The pattern is less regular than a planned grid, following plot boundaries and the gentle slope of the terrain.
