Draa el Mizan Map Poster & Print
Draa el Mizan is a town in the Tizi Ouzou province of northern Algeria, in the hilly country of Kabylie. From above, the relief shapes the map: the town sits on the uneven ground of foothills, and its streets follow the land instead of forming a regular grid, curving around slopes and gathering on flatter shelves where building is easier.
Around the town, roads wind through ridges and valleys, connecting Draa el Mizan to villages scattered across the hills, many of them built along the crests in the typical Kabyle way. Fields, orchards and olive groves fill the lower slopes. The mountains of the region rise beyond, giving the whole landscape a strong sense of height and depth, even in flat monochrome.
A Draa el Mizan map poster keeps this relationship between a compact town and the hill country around it. It is a natural choice for families from Kabylie living in Algiers or abroad, and for anyone with memories of the region. The irregular, organic street pattern makes a composition that feels personal and rooted in the land.

Winding hill roads
Roads leave the town in long curves and switchbacks, climbing toward surrounding villages and giving the map a strong sense of movement.
Villages on the ridges
Small settlements appear on nearby hilltops and crests, typical of Kabylie, forming a scattered pattern around the town in every direction.
