Haysyn Map Poster & Print
Haysyn lies in Vinnytsia oblast in the historic region of Podillia. It grew along the Sob river, a tributary of the Southern Bug. From above, the river winds through the town, and the streets arrange themselves around its bends and its valley.
The centre holds the densest blocks and the main roads, and the houses of the outer streets sit on long private plots with gardens, typical of Ukrainian provincial towns. Beyond them, the broad agricultural fields of central Ukraine run to the horizon, crossed by the occasional road and belt of trees.
A Haysyn map poster centres on the river and the town that follows it. In black and white, the curve of the Sob and the soft grid of garden plots form a calm, balanced picture.

Garden plots
Away from the centre, houses sit on long strips of land. On the map they create a fine, repeating pattern of narrow parcels.
Open farmland
Around the town, large fields stretch in every direction. The poster shows them as broad, quiet surfaces around a compact settlement.
