Inhulets Map Poster & Print
Inhulets lies in the south of the Kryvyi Rih iron ore basin in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, along the Inhulets River from which it takes its name. From above, the town is defined by mining. A very large open-pit quarry lies next to the residential area, its terraced walls and haul roads forming a pattern that is unlike anything else on a town map.
The town grew around the mining and processing plant that works the local iron ore. Its residential districts are laid out in a planned Soviet-era pattern of apartment blocks and straight streets, sitting between the river and the industrial zone, with tailings ponds and rail spurs further out.
An Inhulets map poster shows a landscape changed by industry. The curving river, the planned housing blocks and the huge quarry next to them combine into an unusual, striking drawing. It suits people who have lived or worked here and want a map that shows the town as it really is.

Inhulets River
The river gives the town its name and winds past the residential area, adding a natural curving line to a landscape otherwise shaped by industry.
Planned housing blocks
The residential part of Inhulets follows a regular Soviet-era layout, with apartment blocks arranged along straight streets between the river and the mine.
