Matsulu Map Poster & Print
Matsulu lies in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga, between Mbombela and Malelane, close to the N4 highway that links the region with Mozambique. From above it reads as a planned settlement. Long streets are set out in regular blocks and grouped into sections, with larger roads marking the boundaries between them. The pattern is clear and even, softened only by the lie of the land.
The surrounding terrain is hilly bushveld. The Crocodile River runs through the valley nearby, with farms along its banks growing sugar cane and subtropical fruit. In places, streams and gullies interrupt the grid, and the town's edges meet open land abruptly, giving the map a sharp outline against the lighter countryside.
The southern edge of Kruger National Park is not far to the east, and many residents work in tourism, farming or in Mbombela. A Matsulu map poster shows a community that visitors usually pass on the highway. The national highway runs nearby, connecting Mbombela with the Mozambican border. It forms a firm line at the edge of town and ties it to the wider region.
Crocodile River valley
