Panórama sits on the slopes east of Thessaloniki, and its streets show it. There is no grid here. The map is drawn almost in contours: roads loop back on themselves to gain height, short lanes end in turning circles, and houses line terraces that follow the hill. From above, the pattern looks loose and organic, a place laid out around gradients rather than blocks.
The name says what the town was built for. From its upper streets the view opens west across the city towards the Thermaic Gulf. Through the twentieth century the area grew into a quieter, greener residential address overlooking Thessaloniki. Today it is part of the municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis and stretches between the urban edge and the wooded ground rising towards Mount Chortiatis.
