Te mapa
Afula sits in the middle of the Jezreel Valley in northern Israel and is often called the capital of the valley. From above, the town is surrounded by a patchwork of cultivated fields, crossed by long roads that meet here from every direction. To the east, the land rises toward the Hill of Moreh, and the ridge of Mount Gilboa lies farther to the southeast.
The modern town was founded in the 1920s to a plan by the architect Richard Kauffmann, and traces of that design remain in the street layout of the older centre. Upper Afula was built later on the slopes to the east, where the roads curve along the contours. The two parts give the map a flat grid on one side and winding hillside streets on the other.
Afula is a crossroads for the region, with main highways and the Jezreel Valley railway passing through. An Afula map poster shows how the town anchors the valley, a dense centre set within broad agricultural land. The clear lines of fields and roads make it one of the cleaner compositions in northern Israel.
The older centre follows a layout drawn in the 1920s. Its orderly streets stand out on the poster as a deliberate, designed shape among the open fields.
The eastern neighbourhoods climb toward the Hill of Moreh. Their curved streets follow the terrain and contrast with the straighter lines of the valley floor below.
Cultivated plots surround the town in long rectangles. Together with the regional roads and railway, they frame Afula as the hub of the Jezreel Valley.

Koteā ko Afula
Afula is where many people from the valley went to school, served nearby or started a family. A map of the town makes a personal keepsake for them and a thoughtful gift for anyone whose story passes through the Jezreel Valley.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised with a name, a date or a short phrase. The poster comes in five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, so it can match a light, modern interior or a warmer room.
