Te mapa
Seen from above, Agbor is organised around one strong line: the highway that links Benin City with Asaba and the Niger crossing. Most of the town's streets meet this road at an angle and then run off into the surrounding farmland. The printed result reads less like a planned grid and more like a spine with ribs, which gives the poster a clear direction.
Agbor is the main town of the Ika area in Delta State and the seat of a traditional kingdom whose ruler holds the title Dein of Agbor. On the map that long history does not show up as walls or a citadel. It shows up in the older, denser street pattern near the centre, which thins into newer plots and footpaths towards the edges.
An Agbor map poster keeps only what the street data shows: roads, lanes and the soft boundary where built ground gives way to green. Without colour or labels crowding it, the drawing turns into a study of how a West African market town grows outward from its main road.
The Benin–Asaba road runs straight through town and is the heaviest line on the poster. Nearly every other street connects to it sooner or later.
Near the centre the streets sit closer together and bend more often. This tighter pattern marks the part of town that grew first.
Towards the outskirts the lines spread apart and end among farmland, so the town fades out gradually rather than stopping at a hard edge.

Koteā ko Agbor
For people from Ika land, Agbor is often the place they go back to for family occasions, festivals and the start of each new year. A print of its streets gives them something plain and personal to hang in a flat in Lagos, London or Houston.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to a family name, a wedding date or a hometown greeting. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Digital HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
