Te mapa
Okigwe lies in the north of Imo State in southeastern Nigeria, in a landscape of rolling hills that sets it apart from the flatter country further south. The town is known for this terrain. From above, its streets follow the shape of the land, curving along ridges and dropping into valleys instead of forming a straight grid.
The centre is a compact cluster of roads, markets and residential streets, and neighbourhoods reach out along the main routes. Okigwe sits close to the highway between Enugu and Port Harcourt, one of the main north–south links in the southeast. Roads branch from the town toward surrounding communities in every direction.
Between the settlements, the hills stay largely green with farmland and vegetation. An Okigwe map poster reflects that balance, showing the town as a network of lines spread across open, rolling country. Main roads are drawn firmly, while smaller streets trace the contours of the hills in finer strokes.
The hilly terrain around Okigwe shapes the street pattern, with roads bending along ridges and slopes rather than following straight lines.
The Enugu–Port Harcourt highway passes near the town. It is a strong line on the map that connects Okigwe with the major cities of the southeast.
Roads lead out from the centre toward surrounding towns and villages, forming a star-like pattern that frames the compact urban core.
