Te mapa
Aba grew as a trading town in southeastern Nigeria, and the map reads like one. Streets pack tightly around the old commercial core, then loosen into residential blocks that spread across flat land. The Aba River threads through the city, a thin curving line that the dense street pattern bends around rather than crosses in any tidy way.
The city is widely known for workshops and markets, with Ariaria International Market among the largest in West Africa. On paper that activity shows up as fine-grained streets, short blocks and a web of lanes that grows denser toward the trading districts. Major roads run north toward Enugu and south toward Port Harcourt, giving the composition a clear axis.
Aba also holds a place in Nigerian history through the Women's War of 1929, a protest against colonial taxation that began in the region. An Aba map poster keeps none of the noise and all of the structure: a river, a spine of highways, and thousands of streets drawn in fine black line.
A narrow river winds through the city, its curves breaking up the street pattern and adding a soft, organic line to an otherwise tightly packed urban grid.
The trading areas appear as the densest parts of the map, where short streets and narrow lanes knit together into an almost textile-like pattern of fine lines.
The expressway linking Enugu and Port Harcourt passes the city, giving the poster a strong directional line that anchors the sprawl of smaller streets around it.

Koteā ko Aba
For people from Abia State, Aba is a place of family, trade and hard work. A poster of its streets is a quiet way to keep that close, whether it hangs in a Lagos flat, a London office or a home abroad where the city is remembered daily.
