Te mapa
Agistri lies just west of Aegina in the Saronic Gulf, a ferry ride from Piraeus. It is a small, roughly round island, and pine forest covers most of it, running almost down to the water. From above, a single road loops through the north and east, linking the few villages. The western side is steeper and has far fewer buildings.
The port village of Skala sits on the north coast. Megalochori, also known as Mylos, lies a short way west and serves as a second harbour. Limenaria lies further south. Off the south-west corner, small islets such as Dorousa stand close to the shore and add a few scattered outlines to the edge of the map.
Agistri draws many visitors from Athens who want a quieter island within easy reach of the city. An Agistri map poster shows a place where forest and coastline do most of the work, with a handful of villages and a thin road holding the whole picture together, and the larger outline of Aegina just across the water.
The main port and largest village is on the north coast. Ferries from Piraeus and Aegina arrive here, and a small grid of lanes spreads back from the beach.
Pines cover most of the island, so on the map the interior reads as one calm, open area, broken only by the road and a few tracks.
At the south-west tip the island breaks up into a narrow channel and small islets, giving the outline a broken, delicate edge facing the open gulf.

Koteā ko Agistri
Agistri is a favourite escape for Athenians and, for many visitors, their first Greek island, about an hour from Piraeus by fast boat. A map poster keeps those easy, familiar summers close at hand.
Personalise the poster with a title such as your village, a subtitle, a date and the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. The $9 digital files cover six common print sizes.
