Te mapa
Alboraya lies just north of Valencia, and its map runs from farmland to the Mediterranean. Inland, the town centre sits among the fields of the huerta, the irrigated plain around Valencia. It is divided into small plots by an old network of irrigation channels. Toward the coast, the fields give way to beaches, and newer developments line the shore.
Alboraya is known as the home of horchata, the chilled drink made from chufa, or tiger nuts, which grow in the surrounding fields. On the coast, Port Saplaya is a marina development with brightly painted houses along canals. It is often called a little Venice, and on a map its water channels stand out clearly.
An Alboraya map poster brings together three textures: the dense streets of the old town, the fine patchwork of the huerta and the canals of the marina. The coastline draws a clean line along the eastern edge, and Valencia's northern districts press close on the southern side.

A marina village with houses set along canals lies on the coast. Its water channels create a distinctive enclosed shape by the sea.
Beaches run along the eastern edge of the municipality. The straight coastline contrasts with the irregular fields and streets inland.
