Te mapa
Anaime lies in the Tolima Department of Colombia, high in the Central Cordillera of the Andes. The landscape here is steep and folded, and on a map the settlement and its roads follow the contours of valleys and slopes rather than any regular plan, winding through mountainous farmland toward neighbouring communities.
In this kind of terrain, the shape of the land defines everything. Streets bend to stay on workable ground, paths trace the edges of ridges, and the built area stretches in narrow, irregular shapes where the valley floor allows. The result is a street pattern that feels drawn by the mountains themselves.
An Anaime map poster brings this Andean setting into focus. The composition is spare and linear, with roads threading through open space and small clusters of streets marking where people have settled. It is a quiet, contemplative image, well suited to the minimalist black and white style and to anyone with a connection to the Colombian highlands.
Roads curve and switch back through the steep terrain, forming long, sinuous lines that link Anaime to the surrounding highlands and to larger towns in Tolima.
The built area follows the lower ground where slopes ease, creating an elongated, irregular shape rather than a compact grid of city blocks.
Set within one of Colombia's three main Andean ranges, the area is defined by ridges and valleys that give the map its open, spacious character.
