Anaka Map Poster & Print
Anaka is the headquarters of Nwoya District in Uganda's Northern Region, on the road between Gulu and the Albert Nile. On the map, the town lines up along this route: a band of streets on either side of the highway, then a short network of side roads fading into the surrounding grassland.
The district borders Murchison Falls National Park, so the land to the south is among the least built-up in the country. That gives any map of the area plenty of room around the town. Farms and small settlements have spread in recent years, but the overall picture is still one of wide, open ground.
