Te mapa
Arys is a town shaped by the railway. Seen from above, the tracks are the strongest element on the map: several lines approach, meet and fan out into sidings, and the residential streets line up alongside them in regular blocks. Beyond the edges, irrigated fields and open steppe take over, with the Arys River valley running nearby.
The town grew as an important junction where the line from Orenburg towards Tashkent meets the branch leading to the Turkestan–Siberia Railway. That role still explains its layout, its long straight streets and its position in the south of Kazakhstan, in Turkistan Region.
An Arys map poster works almost like a technical drawing. The curves of the rail junction give it movement, the orderly blocks give it rhythm, and the surrounding plain frames everything with space. It suits railway enthusiasts as much as people from the town.
Main lines converge here and split into sidings and yards. On the poster these parallel curves form the most distinctive shape in the whole composition.
Streets were laid out in straight rows beside the tracks. From above they create an even grid that contrasts with the sweeping lines of the railway.
The Arys River and its valley lie close to the town, and flat steppe spreads beyond. On the map they create a quiet, open margin around the settlement.

Koteā ko Arys
For many families, Arys is where a working life on the railway began. A map poster honours that history in a simple way, and it gives a railway enthusiast a genuinely interesting junction to study on the wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, and the Blueprint style suits the technical feel of the tracks particularly well. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
