Te mapa
As Sawānī lies on the Jafara plain, the flat coastal lowland that stretches south and west from Tripoli. From above it reads as a loose, low-density settlement. Houses stand among walled farm plots and orchards, and the lines of main roads run through the plain toward the city. The map shows no dramatic natural features, just the steady pattern of cultivated land.
The town's layout reflects its role on the edge of the capital region. Main roads run north toward Tripoli and on toward other towns of the Jafara, and smaller tracks branch off between the field boundaries. Built-up blocks cluster where these routes meet, and further out the plots become larger and emptier.
As Sawānī is part of Al Jafarah district, an area whose farms have long supplied the markets of Tripoli. An As Sawānī map poster suits this kind of place well. The rectangular plots, the long roads and the scattered houses turn into a quiet geometric pattern when drawn in black and white.
Main roads run north across the plain toward the capital. They are the strongest lines on the map and the routes the town grew along.
Walled fields and orchards divide the land into rectangles of different sizes, giving the map a fine, tiled texture.
With no hills or rivers to follow, the settlement spreads evenly across the Jafara plain, so its shape comes entirely from roads and property lines.

Koteā ko As Sawānī
This print is for families from As Sawānī and the Jafara, including those now living abroad, who want to keep the shape of home on the wall. Its geometric farmland pattern also suits a modern interior.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name or date, and keep or adjust the coordinates line. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand each give the plain a different weight and tone.
