Te mapa
Bad Langensalza lies in western Thuringia, on the edge of the fertile Thuringian Basin. Much of its medieval town wall still stands. From above, the old town appears as a tightly knit oval of lanes and courtyards inside that ring, and the small Salza stream runs through town toward the Unstrut. Beyond the walls, newer districts and fields spread over the gentle surrounding landscape.
The town is known for its sulphur springs and for its many gardens. It calls itself a town of roses, and themed gardens, including a rose garden and a Japanese garden, form green patches within the street pattern. A Bad Langensalza map poster shows these gardens as open spaces set between the dense historic blocks.
Two further features give the town a wider context. In 1866 the Battle of Langensalza was fought here between Prussian and Hanoverian troops, an episode in the Austro-Prussian War. To the west rises the Hainich, whose ancient beech forests form a national park and are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the map, the woodland provides a large, quiet edge.
Long stretches of the old wall survive, and the circuit is still clearly visible in the street layout, enclosing a dense core of lanes and small squares.
Rose gardens, a Japanese garden and other planted spaces make open pockets among the historic blocks, which is unusual for a town of this size.
To the west, the wooded hills of the Hainich National Park begin, and their broad forested area contrasts with the compact town beside them.

Koteā ko Bad Langensalza
For those who have visited for the spa, walked in the Hainich or grown up inside the old walls, this map captures a small town with an unusually clear shape. It works well in a hallway, a study or a guest room.
Personalise the poster with a title, a subtitle and a coordinates line. A visit date or a family name works well. Then choose one of five styles, such as Paper or Sand. Each digital purchase includes 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files in six sizes, without a watermark.
