Te mapa
Bāgepalli is a town in Chikkaballapur district, on the eastern Deccan plateau of Karnataka and close to the border with Andhra Pradesh. The national highway between Bengaluru and Hyderabad runs past it. On a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets attached to that long, straight road running north and south.
The surrounding land is typical of this part of the Deccan: low rocky hills, dry fields and scattered irrigation tanks, the shallow reservoirs that have supported farming here for centuries. They show up as irregular shapes of water among the fields and add soft outlines to an otherwise sparse, open map.
The town itself is modest in size, with a central market area, residential lanes and newer growth along the main roads. A Bāgepalli map poster keeps that simplicity intact. It shows how a small South Indian town sits in its landscape, linked to the wider country by a single major route that carries traffic between two of India's largest cities.
The Bengaluru–Hyderabad national highway passes the town as a long straight line. It is the strongest element on the map and the main link to the wider region.
Shallow reservoirs scattered around the town appear as irregular shapes among the fields. They are a classic feature of the Deccan landscape and a sign of long farming traditions.
Bāgepalli's central streets form a small, dense cluster. Residential lanes branch outward and thin quickly into farmland at the edges.
