Te mapa
Hosūr stands on the plateau in the far north-west of Tamil Nadu, just across the border from Karnataka and within easy reach of Bengaluru. Its height gives it a milder climate than the plains below, and the land around it rolls gently rather than lying flat. From above, the town is a mix of dense older streets, new housing layouts and wide industrial plots.
The national highway to Bengaluru cuts through on a long diagonal, and much of the town's recent growth has attached itself to that line. Large manufacturing estates, home to vehicle and engineering companies, show up on the map as broad rectangles with sparse internal roads. They contrast clearly with the tight grain of the old bazaar area.
Among the neighbourhoods lie the irregular shapes of lakes and tanks, built to hold monsoon water on this dry upland. A temple on a small hill near the centre is one of the town's oldest landmarks. On a Hosūr map poster these pieces sit side by side: water bodies, road corridors and the patterns of a place still filling in.
The main road to Bengaluru runs straight through Hosūr. It is a strong diagonal line that ties the town to the neighbouring metropolis and organises much of its commercial frontage.
Wide factory compounds take up large blocks around the town. Their simple outlines and long internal roads stand apart from the finer residential streets on the map.
Irregular reservoirs dot the town and its edges, pale shapes among the streets that recall how water has long been stored and managed on the plateau.

Koteā ko Hosūr
Hosūr has drawn people from across southern India to work in its factories and offices, and many arrive without knowing the town at all. A map poster turns an adopted home, or the place where a career began, into something quiet and personal to live with.
Set the title and subtitle in your own words and change the coordinates line to a street or campus. All five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, keep the layout clear. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
