Te mapa
Barañáin sits immediately west of Pamplona, and most of the town was built in a single burst from the late 1960s onward to house the city's growing workforce. The result is one of the densest municipalities in Spain. From above, tall residential blocks stand in orderly rows along wide avenues, leaving more open ground between buildings than a traditional old town would.
That density comes with generous green space. A large park with an artificial lake runs along one side of the town, a sweeping open area that softens the edge of the residential grid. Beyond it the land opens toward the countryside of the Cuenca de Pamplona, and the city's ring roads sweep past.
A Barañáin map poster makes the planning logic easy to see. The shapes of the blocks repeat, the streets are regular and clearly ranked, and the park and lake give the drawing a calm counterweight. It is a portrait of late twentieth-century Spanish urbanism, tidy and legible.
Rows of mid-rise and high-rise housing set along wide avenues give the map a regular, modular rhythm that is typical of 1970s Spanish planning.
The large park with its artificial lake forms a broad open shape at the town's edge, the clearest landmark on the drawing.
Barañáin merges with Pamplona's western districts, and the ring roads around the city frame the town on the map.

Koteā ko Barañáin
Barañáin is where many Navarrese families grew up in the decades after it was built. A poster of its clear, ordered streets marks that shared experience, and makes a thoughtful gift for someone who left for Madrid, Barcelona or abroad.
Add a title, a subtitle and a coordinates line, perhaps the name of a street or a year. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the planned geometry especially well.
