Te mapa
Bhabhua is the headquarters of Kaimur district in western Bihar, near the Uttar Pradesh border. The town sits on the flat, intensively farmed Gangetic plain. On a map, a dense centre of lanes and markets is surrounded by roads that run straight out across the fields to villages in every direction.
South of the town, the land rises toward the Kaimur hills, a plateau edge that gives the district its name. The contrast between the level plain and the broken ground to the south shows on any map that takes in the wider area.
The district is known for the Mundeshwari Temple, on a hilltop not far from Bhabhua, which is regarded as one of the oldest functioning temples in India. A Bhabhua map poster shows the town at the meeting point of plain and hills, with its roads spreading out like spokes.
The old market area forms a tight knot of narrow lanes. It shows as the densest part of the poster, surrounded by more open ground.
Roads leave the town in almost straight lines toward surrounding villages, giving the map a clear, spoke-like pattern across the plain.
To the south the flat farmland gives way to the rising Kaimur plateau, a change in terrain that frames the district.

Koteā ko Bhabhua
For families from Kaimur district, and especially those now living elsewhere, the print is a way to keep the home town in sight. The map shows its streets precisely without adding anything that is not there.
