Te mapa
Bignay Uno is a barangay in the Calabarzon region of Luzon, on the low ground of Quezon province not far from the shore of Tayabas Bay. From above it looks like a community stretched along a few main roads. Homes cluster at the junctions, and farmland, stands of coconut and small lanes fill the space between them.
To the north the land rises gradually toward the volcanic mass of Mount Banahaw, and much of the water in this part of Quezon drains from those slopes down to the bay. On a map that gentle gradient shows up as streams cutting across the road pattern, with fields laid out between them.
A Bignay Uno map poster is a portrait of an everyday place, not a famous skyline. The drawing records the roads people actually walk and drive, the clusters where neighbours live and the open ground around them. Often that is exactly what someone living far away wants to see on the wall.
Houses line the main roads and gather at the crossings, so the densest marks on the poster follow the routes that connect the barangay to nearby towns.
Small watercourses run down from the higher ground inland toward Tayabas Bay. They cross the road network and divide the surrounding fields into irregular parcels.
Between the built-up strips the map opens into wide pale areas of farmland and tree cover, which gives the composition plenty of breathing room.

Koteā ko Bignay Uno
Many families from Quezon now live abroad or in Metro Manila, and a map of the home barangay is a direct, unsentimental way to keep it close. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a parent or grandparent who grew up there.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a family name or a year, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. A free 900 px preview lets you check the framing before you buy the $9 HD files or a printed poster.
