Marne riverfront
The Marne bends along the town's northern edge, with small islands and quays giving the print a flowing line that contrasts with the street pattern.

Te mapa
Bry-sur-Marne lies just east of Paris in the Val-de-Marne, on the left bank of the Marne. From above, the town is a strip between river and plateau: the water curves along its northern side, and streets climb gradually away from the bank toward higher, greener ground. Islands and boat moorings break up the line of the river.
The town has a notable place in the history of images. Louis Daguerre, whose daguerreotype process helped launch photography, spent his last years in Bry and is buried there. That link continues today, as Bry is home to the Institut national de l'audiovisuel and large film and television studios.
A Bry-sur-Marne map poster reads as a quiet suburban plan with a strong natural edge. The river draws a smooth arc, residential streets fill the slope in irregular blocks, and road and rail links toward Paris cross the frame. It is a small town with an unusually rich connection to photography and broadcasting.
The Marne bends along the town's northern edge, with small islands and quays giving the print a flowing line that contrasts with the street pattern.
Louis Daguerre, pioneer of photography, lived his final years in Bry-sur-Marne and is buried in the town, a fitting link for a map in black and white.
The national audiovisual institute and major production studios occupy large sites in town, visible on the map as broad, distinctive blocks.
