Buenavista is a large locality in the municipality of Tultitlán, in the State of Mexico, on the northern fringe of the metropolitan area around Mexico City. It grew quickly in recent decades as families moved outward from the capital, and its map reflects that growth: a dense fabric of small rectangular blocks and narrow streets, much of it laid out as successive housing developments.
Main avenues cross the area and connect it to the rest of the valley, and on the poster they stand out as the few long lines within an otherwise fine-grained pattern.
