Te mapa
Ceilândia is an administrative region of Brazil's Federal District, west of the Plano Piloto of Brasília. It was created in 1971 to resettle families moved from informal settlements, and its name comes from CEI, the initials of the campaign behind that move, combined with the suffix lândia. Within a few decades it became one of the most populous areas of the district.
From above, Ceilândia is unmistakably planned. Wide avenues run in straight lines across the flat cerrado plateau, dividing the city into sectors of regular blocks. The layout is denser and more repetitive than Brasília's monumental axes, but it shares the same logic of order imposed on open land, with green strips and larger lots separating the residential quadras.
The metro line from central Brasília reaches Ceilândia, giving the map a clear link to the capital. Culturally, the city is known for northeastern music traditions and for the Casa do Cantador, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. A Ceilândia map poster shows a working city on the same plateau as the capital, drawn with the same clean lines.
Regular blocks grouped into sectors create a disciplined, almost textile pattern across the map, one of the clearest examples of planned growth around Brasília.
Long, broad roads cross the city in parallel lines, dividing the sectors and giving the composition a strong, rhythmic structure when printed in black and white.
The metro connects Ceilândia with central Brasília, and its route forms a direct line linking the satellite city to the Plano Piloto across the plateau.

Koteā ko Ceilândia
Ceilândia has a strong local identity, built by generations of families who arrived from across Brazil. A map poster of the city is a statement of belonging, and its planned grid makes an unexpectedly elegant piece of wall art.
Add a title, a subtitle such as your sector or a family date, and the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Blueprint, and download the files for $9 or order a printed poster.
