Te mapa
Gama is one of the administrative regions of Brazil's Federal District. It was laid out in the early 1960s as one of the satellite towns built to house workers and families alongside the new capital. On a map it reads as a deliberate composition. Numbered sectors, residential blocks and commercial strips are arranged to a plan rather than grown over time, and you can see that clearly at poster scale.
The urban core sits on a plateau surrounded by cerrado savanna, small streams and agricultural land. Arterial roads link it northeast toward central Brasília and south toward the border with Goiás. Between the built sectors, open green spaces and sports grounds leave gaps in the dense street pattern. In black and white, those gaps become quiet pauses between the blocks.
A Gama map poster shows how Brasília's planning ideas were carried outward from the Pilot Plan into the towns around it. The city is also known across the Federal District for its football club, Sociedade Esportiva do Gama. For many residents that club is as much a part of local identity as the neighbourhood sectors they grew up in.
Residential quadras and commercial strips follow a designed scheme, so the street network looks orderly and geometric compared with towns that grew without a plan.
Beyond the last streets the lines thin out quickly into savanna, stream valleys and farmland, which gives the built area a clear outer boundary on the page.
Highways leave the city toward the Pilot Plan and the neighbouring regions, tying this compact grid to the wider road network of the Federal District.

Koteā ko Gama
For people who grew up in Gama or moved there to work in the capital, the map shows familiar sectors and block numbers that make up everyday addresses. It is a quiet way to keep a place close after moving on.
You can add a personal title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
