Te mapa
Luziânia sits on the central Brazilian plateau in Goiás, a short drive south of Brasília. Its historic centre is small and irregular, with narrow streets that follow the terrain, while the newer districts around it are laid out in broad, regular grids typical of recent Brazilian growth. From above, the contrast between the old core and the planned outskirts is immediately clear.
The town was founded in the mid-eighteenth century as Santa Luzia, during the gold rush that drew settlers into the interior of Brazil. Colonial buildings and churches remain in the old centre, and the town kept its link to the saint in its present name. Today it is part of the metropolitan area that surrounds the federal capital.
The landscape around the city is cerrado, the tropical savanna of central Brazil, with low vegetation, streams and reservoirs. A Luziânia map poster sets the city's mix of historic streets and expanding neighbourhoods against that open terrain, a clear picture of a place where colonial Brazil meets the growth of the capital region.
The colonial core forms a compact patch of irregular streets, recognisable on the map by its tighter texture compared with the surrounding modern grid.
Around the centre, newer neighbourhoods follow long, regular blocks, producing a strong geometric pattern that fills most of the urban area.
The main road north toward the federal capital runs as a clear line through the map, marking the city's close connection to Brasília.

Koteā ko Luziânia
Luziânia has long been home to families who work across the capital region, and many trace their roots to its colonial centre. The map captures both stories in one image, the old town and the growing city.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name, a move-in date or a short phrase, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper can be ordered with a wooden frame.
