Cizhu Map Poster & Print
Cizhu is a town in the Yubei district of Chongqing municipality, north of the city's main urban core. Like much of the region, it sits in folded, hilly terrain, and the map shows this immediately. Streets curve to follow the land, and the town stretches along valleys instead of spreading out in an even grid.
The centre is a compact cluster where several roads meet, and from there routes wind outward through farmland and hills toward neighbouring towns. The land in between is a patchwork of terraced fields and wooded slopes, typical of rural Chongqing, and it gives the areas around the streets an irregular, textured look on the map.
