Te mapa
Clark-Fulton is a neighbourhood on the West Side of Cleveland. It takes its name from Clark Avenue and Fulton Road, the two streets that cross near its middle. From above it is a tight grid of residential blocks, with narrow lots, closely packed houses and a few longer commercial streets cutting across. The pattern is classic Cleveland: orderly, dense and built for walking.
The neighbourhood is home to the main campus of MetroHealth, one of the region's major hospitals, and the campus's large footprint along West 25th Street stands out among the small residential blocks. Clark-Fulton is also known as the heart of Cleveland's Hispanic community. Its strong Puerto Rican presence shapes the character of its streets, shops and churches.
A Clark-Fulton map poster captures a place defined more by its streets than by any single landmark. The even texture of the blocks is broken only by a few wide avenues and the hospital campus. The result feels urban but approachable, and it suits anyone who has lived, worked or grown up here.
The two streets that give the neighbourhood its name cross near its centre. Their intersection is a clear, natural focal point on the print.
This major north–south corridor runs through the area and past the MetroHealth campus. It adds a strong vertical line to the otherwise fine-grained grid.
Rows of narrow lots and closely spaced houses produce a dense, regular texture. It reflects the neighbourhood's history as a close-knit working-class district.
