Te mapa
Cockeysville lies north of Baltimore in Baltimore County, Maryland, and its map follows a long north–south corridor. York Road and Interstate 83 run parallel through the area, with the light rail line nearby. Around them, suburban streets branch off into cul-de-sacs, loops and apartment complexes. Wooded stream valleys separate the neighbourhoods.
The community gave its name to Cockeysville Marble, a stone quarried here and used in notable buildings, including the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. Former quarry sites are still part of the local landscape. To the west, Oregon Ridge Park adds a large area of forest and trails at the edge of the map.
A Cockeysville map poster shows a very American suburban pattern: the strong transport spine through the middle, and the curving residential streets around it. The wooded valleys leave open spaces that break up the development and give the map a softer, more varied rhythm.

Residential areas are built with winding roads and cul-de-sacs. Their loops and branches create a delicate, almost botanical pattern on the map.
The local marble that carries the community's name was quarried here. Former quarry areas still show up as distinct shapes in the landscape.
